I tested out these homemade pita chips one night as a pretrial run for the Superbowl and because we had avocados that needed to be used. I bought all the ingredients to make them last Sunday but ended up forgetting about them as I got lost in the shuffle of cooking. Following this
recipe, I made a batch using jalapeno tortillas instead of plain flour tortillas. Next time, I'll probably cut down on the chilli powder which is saying a lot because I love spicy food - but they were definitely a delicious treat. I also baked mine a little long because I love burnt crispy edges!
